We are the alternative high school in the district and take students from both of our traditional high schools (FHS/SHS). The kids here at Bridges High School are those who are behind and not the kids you would associate with writing business plans, however this year in our Business Basics (Entrepreneurship) class, I have pushed and three groups of kids have developed basic conceptual business plans! I will be having a local entrepreneur (Bob Metcalf-Trio Graphic Printing) come and discuss how he got started and the following day we will have a gentleman coming to discuss how to promote businesses on the web. (Will Hanke -Whereismybusiness.com) I plan on having both guest review the business plans, as well as, have the study body take a vote on the one they like best.
