For the fourth year, the Initiative for Rural Innovation & Stewardship (IRIS) is teaming up with the City of Entiat, the Entiat School District, the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest and others to convene a Success Summit that will showcase examples of how innovative entrepreneurs and leaders are building community and lasting success across our region. Residents will share insights and stories about how they are working within their communities to meet basic human needs while conserving natural systems and bridging cultural divides, fundamental to a sustainable future. In addition, the Wenatchee Valley College will be introducing their new certificate of entrepreneurship that has begun taking students in the fall of 2012. Following the presentations, Summit participants will share their best ideas for creating more success in our rural communities in 2013.
