Valencia enjoys designing, starting and growing businesses. Since earning an MBA from the Ross School at the University of Michigan, Manny has helped build several B2B and B2C companies in diverse industries such as telecom, health care technology and professional services. He is the founder of 300seats, a one-of-a-kind cultural hub and event series and a board member of the 1899 Foundation and Family Road of Greater Baton Rouge. A native of Lodi, NJ, a place made famous as the setting for “The Sopranos,” Manny produced several films and worked as a party motivator in New York City while at Rutgers University. During graduate school he caught a bug for international travel and has visited 6 continents for work and leisure. A passionate fanatic of international football, Manny makes trips to temples of the sport with family and friends to cities like Buenos Aires, Barcelona and Rome, keeping alive his dream to play starting forward for A.S. ROMA. He lives in Baton Rouge, Louisiana with Jacqueline, Sofia and Diane, and he walks three Chihuahuas in the neighborhood.
