This event, widely recognized as one of the Bay Area's best networking events for entrepreneurs and business professionals, brings together several hundred of the entrepreneurs, advisors, funders, and community leaders that are working together to create quality inner city jobs and wealth. We want to do even more for our entrepreneurs, so at this year's reception we're creating the ICA Marketplace, this event centerpiece will give ICA companies additional visibility and an opportunity to sell their products and services to those in attendace. In addition to delicious food and live entertainment, attendees will be encouraged to learn about, and, even better, pruchase, goods and services from sustainable and responsible inner city businesses, while they network with over 650 business and community leaders. In this turbulent economy, the best thing we can do to stimulate local jobs is to buy from the inner city entrepreneurs that can create them. ICA is a registered 501(c)(3) organization. All proceeds from the ICA Business Reception go to further ICA's Mission. Every $1 dollar donated to ICA in 2010 yielded $191 dollars in inner city wages and salaries. Together we can continue to grow this investment and scale our impact of creating and retaining quality jobs for inner city residents.
