Celebrate Global Entrepreneurship Week with Chesapeake College Join Chesapeake College in “Bringing Ideas To Life: Entrepreneurship As A Career Choice”. In partnership with the Eastern Shore Entrepreneurship Center, Upper Shore Manufacturing & Business Council, SCORE, and the Small Business Development Center, the College will celebrate Global Entrepreneurship Week on Tuesday, November 15, 2011. The event will be held at 10 – 11:30 a.m. in the Cadby Theatre – Kent Humanities Bldg. on the College’s Wye Mills Campus. The event is free and open to the public. Global Entrepreneurial Week will is celebrated the week of November 14-20 across the United States and in 100 countries. The purpose is to celebrate the spirit of innovators and job creators who launch startups that bring ideas to life, and drive economic growth and expand human welfare. Join local business professionals to learn why they choose to make entrepreneurship as their career choice. Speakers from the Upper Shore will be Ms. Kim Scott, President & CEO, The Great Gourmet, Mr. Mark Salter, Creator of Salter’s Chesapeake Gourmet and Proprietor and Chef of The Robert Morris Inn, and Mr. Dale Walls, Founding Partner, CEO/COO, Corsica Technologies. Hear about their challenges and triumphs on their road to success as an entrepreneur! The panel will be moderated by Mr. Lewis J. Healy, Associate Professor of Business Mr. Larry A.
