Top Atlanta School Morris Brandon's 3rd annual Read-A-Thon begins November 3rd and runs until November 14th. Read-A-Thon is a great opportunity to focus on reading and encourage good reading habits. The Morris Brandon Media Centers are excited to be hosting a multi-award winning author during the Fall 2011 Read-a-Thon. The Main Campus Media Center will welcome author Jennifer Bouani, who will speak about entrepreneurship to 500+ 3rd-5th grade kids as well as sign her book “Tyler & His Solve-a-matic Machine” on Thursday, November 3rd. There will be two sessions in the cafeteria with Ms. Bouani; Winner of Disney’s Prestigious iParenting Media Award, “Tyler & His Solve-a-matic Machine”, an engaging story interlinking the values of community and friendship with business. Tyler dreams of sailing the world and must overcome various obstacles to achieve his dream - along the way, Tyler befriends a hungry monkey, a chatty octopus, and a number-crunching polar bear, and overcomes pirate parrots, loan sharks and united termites who threaten his dream. “Tyler & His Solve-a-matic Machine” is the first book in the Future Business Leaders' series. Also, The Tycoon Cocoon will introduce the kids to The Money Game. It's never too early to learn how to manage money!
