Albert (Al) P. Carey is chief executive officer of PepsiCo Americas Beverages, a unit of PepsiCo. PepsiCo owns the world's largest portfolio of billion-dollar food and beverage brands, including 19 different product lines, each of which generates more than $1 billion in annual retail sales. With net revenues of approximately $60 billion, PepsiCo employs nearly 300,000 people worldwide. Carey assumed this role in Sept. 2011 and is responsible for overseeing all aspects of PepsiCo’s Beverage business across North, South and Central America. Carey is a 1974 graduate of UMD.
