November 14 The Green Economy: Competing Globally for Jobs of the Future Speaker: Terry McAuliffe, Chief of Greentech Automotive in Mclean, Virginia 6:30pm – 8:00pm Arlington Campus, Founders Hall, Auditorium The School of Public Policy Student Association will be hosting this opportunity to hear Terry McAuliffe present on his latest “green” initiative as well as discuss some of the larger issues facing our nation today. He recently traveled to China to form a joint venture with Shengyang Zhongrui Investment to produce and sell energy efficient cars in China. The success of this venture will reduce carbon emissions in China and create 2,000 new jobs in the United States with the production of the vehicles’ core components being done on our very own soil. All students, faculty, staff and public are welcome to attend. Refreshments and light fare will be served.
