A business without great publicity is doomed to mediocrity. - Lottie P. THE publicists is a business competition that teaches young aspiring entrepreneurs the nuts and bolts of marketing and public relations. The Second Round of THE publicists will take place in Talbotton, Geogia. Over the course of one month, students will launch AND promote their own businesses. The student team with the most successful marketing strategy will be crowned THE publicists and will win the $1000 Lula Award. The competition will begin on November 14, 2011 during Global Entrepreneurship Week. The Lula Award will be presented on December 12, 2011.
