MSSU students who are thinking of starting their own company will want to attend this workshop. An overview of the critical first steps associated with starting a business will be covered during this program. Students will have an opportunity to assess their strengths and weaknesses, learn about the importance of planning, discuss legal and regulatory requirements, examine target markets and marketing issues, and identify sources of financing. Each student will receive a Start-up Manual. INSTRUCTORS: Karen Bradshaw and Ken Surbrugg TIME: 1:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. COST: Free; $30 value. Supported by MSSU Center for Entrepreneurship
