PR over Coffee is a monthly meeting for small business and startups to connect with media professionals like journalists, editors and news producers in search of compelling “local” news. PR over Coffee provides businesses practical ways -- not to mention connections to media professionals -- to practice “Do-it-Yourself” PR in their own markets. We believe small businesses and non-profits should be able to quickly learn the most effective practices and professional secrets to getting more media exposure and brand awareness, including meeting and pitching news to reporters at our events. Our plans include expansion beyond Austin in the near future as well as the launch of MyLocalReporter, a revolutionary reporter search and news pitching to that lowers the cost of PR for small business.
