DECA members worked with the Woodhaven Kiwanis club to help them plan and execute a pancake breakfast and garage sale. STudents went to planning meetings and showed them the importance of having a business plan and developing marketing strategies. Students worked with Kiwanis members to help them plan and organize the event. After the event Kiwanis members explained the entrepreneurial skills they used in planning the event at their monthly meeting.
