Organizer: West Side Career and Technology Center

Students in the West Side Career and Technology Center marketing shop compete in teams to see who the best small busines owner is. The students are assigned a total of 5 days to operate and market their store. Students not assigned to the store that week act as shoppers. They are armed with an assessment sheet and money so they can go shopping and asses the assigned team’s performance. At the end of the challenge the winner is announce based on percentage points. The points are used as part of their grade. It is only open to Students enrolled in the WSCTC Marketing shop but might be something that can be explored for other programs.
