Hack PSU will be held Saturday, Nov. 10 through Sunday, Nov 11, 2012 in conjunction with Global Entrepreneurship Week. This event is organized by Innoblue and sponsored by the Smeal College of Business, Microsoft, GE and Team TreeHouse. It is a 24 hour hack-a-thon at Penn State that gives students the chance to collaborate on building something awesome. Whether you have a background in programming, designing or marketing, this is the perfect opportunity to form a team around an idea, build a prototype, and present it to judges at the end of the 24 hours. There are no constraints on what you can build; it can be anything from a website to hardware technology. There will be $3,500 worth of prizes! Judges for the event include Steve Welch, founder of DreamIt Venture, and Liz Kisenwether, co-director of the Lion Launch Pad. This event is open to students of all colleges.
