The Idea Challenge 2012 is a fast-paced competition that challenges secondary and college-aged student teams to find a new use for a common, everyday item while creating the most value possible in eight days. The mystery item to be used in the challenge will be selected and announced by DECA on November 7, 2012. Teams will present their innovative new use for the mystery item and share their results in a three-minute video posted on YouTube.
