The island of Maiu's main source of revenue is tourism. This event will showcase upcoming entrepreneurs' business ideas focused on tourism with sustainability at the core of their mission. Maui is a top vacation destination and sustainability is an important factor when starting a new venture in this present business market. Here is my idea for entry in the event, so you can get a better idea of what the event might entail. Entry- Green/Sustainable Transportation Rental Agency My idea is quite simple. It is mearly a rental car agency with a fleet consisting of cars and trucks either hybrid or functioning on alternative fuel sources. Availble for residents and tourist to rent on a daily or weekly basis.
