We are pleased to announce that Global Entrepreneurship Week is now conducting the first-ever official GEW Policy Survey to assess the state of entrepreneurship around the world. The Global Entrepreneurship Week Policy Survey, conducted by the Monitor Group and the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation, will receive wide distribution during GEW to help inform policy decisions affecting startups everywhere.
Our focus is on capturing the perceptions of entrepreneurs--particularly those who are high-growth or have the potential and drive to be high-growth entrepreneurs--regarding your country's entrepreneurial environment and whether it enables or inhibits success in their enterprises. Your responses will inform a published report on the state of your entrepreneurial ecosystem that reflects the most important public policies necessary to encourage startups to launch and scale. Survey participants find that in completing the questionnaire and reviewing the published findings, they gain insights that help them improve their enterprise.

Since 2003, Monitor has conducted entrepreneurship surveys in 30 countries.Through the survey, we will assess and benchmark the standing of entrepreneurs in comparative settings and conditions; identify strengths, weaknesses, challenges, and opportunities; and distill findings that stimulate and support entrepreneurial activity.
Accordingly, we ask that you follow one of the Web links below and complete the online survey questionnaire, which should take no more than 20 minutes. We would also ask that, as appropriate, you help us identify and pass along this survey to entrepreneurs in your country. All respondent names and organizational affiliations will be kept confidential. Responses will only be allowed until September 28, 2012.
