The Entrepreneur Expo: Harnessing the power of innovation

A featured Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) event and kick-off conference for GEW in Maryland, this is the first state-wide, multi-platform, conference dedicated to promoting the key to Maryland’s innovation economy, its entrepreneurs. The full-day agenda for the expo will cover a variety of programming and multi-format sessions through four programming tracks: Mentoring/Advising, Special Business Topics, Technology Transfer and Commercialization, and Financing. A unique component of the Expo program is The Marketplace (a.k.a. Exhibit Hall), which will host exhibitors from various industries, including entrepreneurs, as well as the Town Square staging for interactive programming throughout the day. The attendees of this Maryland entrepreneur conference will consist of the full spectrum of entrepreneurs : seasoned, aspiring, philanthropic, life-style, rural and urban, and more from various industries, PLUS others with a vested interest in entrepreneurship in Maryland, e.g. investors, entrepreneurial support organizations, legislators, research universities and federal laboratories.
