2011 University of Virginia Entrepreneurship Cup

The UVA Entrepreneurship Cup is a university-wide competition around ideas for new business or social ventures. To compete, individuals or teams must submit their idea in the form of a 2-3 page entrepreneurial concept describing the new venture (for-profit or not-for-profit), including proposed product/service, why a customer would choose to buy/use your product or service, market opportunity, and management team. Whether you are an artist, a scientist, a business student, a biomedical engineer, or a landscape architect, we encourage you to pitch your favorite new venture idea. Each school will be hosting preliminary concept competitions in 2011. Winners of each of these preliminary events will compete in the finals for the UVA Cup on November 18, 2011. All are welcome to attend the event.
