Monday Nov. 14 – Social Entrepreneurship and Toms Shoes. Learn how buying one pair of shoes helps someone who cannot afford them. Explore how a company can leverage its social responsibility to help sales. CRSC324 at 10am, noon and 2pm. Wednesday and Thursday Nov. 16 and 17 – Best of Business Judging. Outside experts will judge your student’s presentations and give them direct feedback from their experience in the business world. Prizes awarded in each class including: Tuition Vouchers for ESI103, Text Book Vouchers and more. Wednesday and Thursday Nov. 16 and 17 - Faculty Advising. Faculty from the Business Management and Entrepreneurial Studies Institute will be available from 11 - 1 to advise students on curriculum, courses, certificates and degree programs in Business Management and Entrepreneurial Studies. CRSC 329 Thursday Nov. 17 – Hatchery/Incubator Open House Meet past winners of the Business Plan competition. Learn what ESI can do for you and your students! We have scholarships and business advising. 9am – 1pm CRSC324 Thursday Nov. 17 – The Entrepreneur’s Club and the International Student Association are sponsoring an International Business Theme meeting during the E-Club meeting time (3:00 – 5:00). There will be international food, a presentation on business culture in a global perspective (or “They eat WHAT in China?!!?”) and more. CRSC322 and 324 Friday Nov. 18 – Movie screening: Ten9eight an award winning film featuring 24 high school students who compete in a national business plan competition. In America, every 9 seconds a high school student drops out of school. Imagine what the world would be like if this did not happen. We will have approximately 100 high school students as our guests. They will see the movie and see a panel discussion of our own business plan winners. FLRS101
