The 2012 Idea Challenge is a fast-paced competition that challenges secondary and college-aged student teams to find a new use for a common, everyday item creating the most value possible in eight days. The challenge is an innovative, idea generation exercise for students. It fits into most curricula and is a great class assignment for formal or extra credit or extra-curricular activity. Although geared toward secondary and college-aged students, elementary schools/organizations are encouraged to participate.
