50 FOR NFTE

Washington , District of Columbia

14 November 2011-19 November 2011

50 for NFTE Inspiring the Next Generation of Entrepreneurs Experience Top Regional Entrepreneurs will visit a NFTE (Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship) class accompanied by a NFTE staff or Board member. There will be 1 or 2 VIP Guest Speakers in each class. Class size is 10-30 high school entrepreneurship students. Speakers will be introduced to the class and invited to share their entrepreneurial story. Following the classroom speaking event, NFTE and Ernst and Young (a NFTE sponsor) will convene a meeting of all the speakers to share their experiences, discuss what they learned, and provide a chance for networking and conversation about entrepreneurship. This event, “50 for NFTE” was a great success in 2010 and we’re looking forward to doing it again this year. We are working with a number of organizations in the area CADRE, EO, YPO, Prince George's County Chamber, Ernst & Young, Mindshare... who are committed to the development of Entrepreneurship in the region and helping secure great entrepreneurs. If you are interested, or have questions, please contact Kate Palmer, Director of Business Development for the NFTE DC Region, at or More information about NFTE can be found at http://www.nfte.com/.
