Last year, Global Entrepreneurship Week/USA featured an inspiring new film about a small group of inner city teens competing against one another in an annual business plan competition hosted by the Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE).
The film was recently named one of five finalists in the VH1 Do Something! Awards — a program to honor young people’s commitment to social change. Each nominee was honored for his or her commitment to service with a community grant of $10,000. One grand prize winner will receive a $100,000 grant for his or her cause during a live VH1 broadcast of the ceremony at the Hollywood Palladium.
