After two days of 60-second product pitches, University of Miami students and alumni eagerly await the judges' decisions for the school's Elevator Pitch contest.__11__.jpg)
The Elevator Pitch, an event that took place at a number of venues throughout Global Entrepreneurship Week, drew the interest of 40 students and alums at Miami during the last two days and for good reason. The first- and second-place winners in each division will win a combined $60,000 worth of prizes to help get their startup ideas on the move.
The Miami Herald highlights some of the ideas pitched at the Launch Pad-run event. Winners will be announced today.
