Marie Claire readers get advice from Mentoring Madness

Advice from Mentoring Madness, sponsored by NYSE Euronext, is still resonating -- even two months after the event. And the mentions are popping up in some unexpected places -- everything from Wall Street Journal, to Black Enterprise magazine to PerezHilton.com.

The most recent addition to this list is MarieClaire.com. This longstanding magazine provides health, beauty and fashion information to an audience of close to 1 million readers (mostly women) each year. This month, that mission included sharing 10 Career Tips, pulled from the panel of expert entrepreneurs at Mentoring Madness.

Mentoring Madness brought together leading entrepreneurs, including Blake Mycoskie, founder and Chief Shoe Giver of TOMs Shoes; Barry S. Sternlicht, Chairman and CEO of Starwood Capital; and, Stephen P. Hanson, founder and president of B.R. Guest Restaurants, a New York-based, multi-concept operator that includes fifteen restaurants in three cities. University students were invited to meet the panel at the New York Stock Exchange on Nov. 16, as part of Global Entrepreneurship Week.

A full Webcast of Mentoring Madness is still available.
