On November 16, the American Heartland will be doing its part to help celebrate Global Entrepreneurship Week at the first-ever Great Lakes Entrepreneur Bash. Twenty-three organizations are lending their support to the event in celebration of entrepreneurial pursuits and the launch of Robert Jordan’s new book, How They Did It: Billion Dollar Insights from the Heart of America.
How They Did It features 45 of the most successful founders from the heartland, and offers advice, inspiration and insights into how these founders launched, grew and sold their companies for a collective $41 billion.
If you will be in the Chicago area, Great Lakes Entrepreneur Bash is a great opportunity to hear from seven of these founders as they share their experiences building their companies from the ground up – the obstacles they overcame, the lessons they learned along the way, and their advice on selling or taking a company public. The hour-long panel will be moderated by the author and includes:
- Vince Pettinelli: PeopleServe
- Jim Dolan: The Dolan Company
- Tim Krauskopf: Spyglass
- Mark Tebbe: Lante
- Michael Polsky: SkyGen
- Chris Moffitt: Rubicon Technology
- Bill DeVille: Health Personnel Options
Many of the other featured founders will be in attendance at the reception following the panel along with hundreds of entrepreneurs from around the region. More information about the event is available at www.entrepreneurbash.com. Use discount code GEW2010 to receive $10 off of your event registration.
