Entrepreneurs and the jobs they create were a hot topic during the U.S. political campaigns, and the conversation has continued post-election. This week, Senator Jerry Moran of Kansas called for a unified effort to move forward with legislation to revive the economy by supporting innovation, entrepreneurs, and startups.
Senator Moran (R-KS) and Senator Mark Warner (D-VA) composed a Dear Colleague Letter to other Senators encouraging them to get involved with Global Entrepreneurship Week and on Tuesday he spoke on the Floor of the US Senate in honor of GEW.
During the speech, Senator Moran urged his colleagues to work together, especially after the divisive campaign that just ended, to improve the economy by helping entrepreneurs, the backbone of what has made the US great.
