GEW/USA News & Updates: 100+ DECA Chapters Planning for GEW 2012

Each year, DECA chapters around the world embrace Global Entrepreneurship Week in new and interesting ways. This year, more than 100 DECA chapters in the United States alone have registered as GEW/USA partners and are planning activities for November. How did they sign up so many? A simple booth at its International Career Development Conference that brought 14,000 high school students, advisors, businesspersons and alumni to Salt Lake City. Stay tuned for updates on what activities they are planning.
Other exciting GEW/USA news comes from New York:
- Women 2.0 has registered its Pitch Conference and Competition NYC 2012 in New York, New York. Attendees will hear from top speakers who have started and successfully lead companies in the high-tech or high-growth sphere.
- A GEW success story: Sanchia Marquez launches her company, Kiddie Captions, after attending Global Entrepreneurship Week in New York City last year. The mobile app lets parents easily share photos of their children using digital scrapbooks.
