Those familiar with Global Entrepreneurship Week in past years will know I do my best to show up in person to support and observe as many of the campaigns as I can around the world. This year I globe blog through Frankfurt, Abu Dhabi, Kuala Lumpur, Taipei, Singapore, Tokyo and Toronto.
My thanks to everyone who invited me to visit you--especially to those who gave us lots of lead time. I hope you will invite me next year.
Next week I will address the Festival of Ideas in Abu Dhabi which expects six nobel laureates and dozens of leading thinkers from around the world; talk to young entrepreneurs in Kuala Lumpur, address a national summit in Taipei, meet with the media in Singapore, participate in the MIT Enterprise Forum Competition in Tokyo and end with a Startup Weekend and meeting with policymakers in Toronto.
While others from GEW Global will help this year--visiting parts of the world as diverse as New Zealand, South Africa, Nigeria, Argentina, Brazil, Denmark, Portugal, Switzerland, France and the Netherlands--please do report from your neck of the woods by using the #GEWnews hashtag on Twitter or
" target="_blank">via email.
Watch this space for my reports from the road.
