For the second straight year, Florida International University’s Eugenio Pino and Family Global Entrepreneurship Center and the College of Business Administration are hosting the Americas Venture Capital Conference during Global Entrepreneurship Week. The focus for this year's conference--scheduled for November 16 & 17--is Latin America: Building on Success.

Now hosted at the historic Biltmore Hotel in Miami, the Americas Venture Capital Conference is the premier forum for innovative companies from South Florida and Latin America to meet and develop strategic alliances with established firms and investors, who seek to grow their product portfolio through co-venturing.

The Pino Global Entrepreneurship Center is now soliciting applications for the 2011 Americas Venture Capital Conference Top 15 Global Innovative Ventures. Innovative companies doing significant business in Latin America/Caribbean or South Florida are encouraged to apply.

Selected companies will be given the opportunity to deliver a pitch to investors attending the conference, and have a chance to win over $40,000 in prizes sponsored by the Tres Mares Group, FedEx Express and CP Capital Securities, Inc. Companies may apply for this opportunity by completing their Entrepreneur Profile in the Global Innovative Ventures Knowledge Base no later than Monday, August 15th, 2011. For more information on presenting company criteria and to apply, please visit: www.AmericasVCConference.com
