On Sunday, DECA students wrapped their Ultimate Power Trip Conference in Washington DC with a launch of Global Entrepreneurship Week.
More than 2,000 students had spent two days in the nation's capital honing their entrepreneurial skills though workshops, learning sessions and an entrepreneurship scavenger hunt around the National Mall. Each student was challenged to take what they had learned in Washington, DC, and engage others in their community during Global Entrepreneurship Week.
During the closing ceremony, DECA also announced the winners of their Compass Challenge, a contest to take a creative picture of the GEW compass. The winner was Luke McKenzie of West Virginia, for the effort above.
