DECA's first-ever Speednetwork the Globe event in celebration of Global Entrepreneurship Week was a success! __56__.jpg)
About 200 DECA members and advisors participated in the highly-interactive event facilitated by DECA's National President, Ryan Dyck and North Atlantic Vice President, Julie Laven, as part of DECA's New York Experience in New York City.
Ryan posed questions such as, "How does a struggling economy fuel entrepreneurship?," "Why is it important to celebrate entrepreneurship?," "What's your big idea?," and "How does DECA help you unleash ideas?" DECA members spent five minutes sharing with students at their table before regrouping with newly-found friends.
This was truly an international event with DECA members from four countries attending. Ryan and Julie encouraged members to stay connected through Facebook and other social media tools.
Another speednetworking event is planned for today.
