More than 1,300 U.S. organizations in all 50 states – including top universities, non-profit organizations, successful entrepreneurs, government agencies and corporate sponsors – are collaborating to celebrate Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) 2010, Nov. 15 - 21.
Since Global Entrepreneurship Week began in 2008, the number of partners in the United States has grown from 973 (2008) to 1,121 (2009) and now to more than 1,300 for 2010. With partners in all fifty states, as well as Washington, D.C. and Puerto Rico, the partner network is planning events and activities to blanket the U.S.
Partners must register their activities online. Partners looking for activity ideas can check out the Ideas Bank for dozens of event suggestions.
So which states have most embraced GEW? California leads the way with 106 partners, followed closely by Michigan with 100. Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, New York, Texas, Florida, Tennessee, Missouri and Ohio round out the top 10.
