All GEW partners plan at least one event and/or activity during the week within their community, university, business or school. USA partner BOSI, has come up with a great resource for entrepreneurs as well as partners, to maximize the scope of their event. With more than 3 years of research invested and thousands of entrepreneurs participating, they have created the BSOI DNA Assessment.

GEW Partners and Entrepreneurs should have their attendees take the assessment before their GEW event. It will automatically segment their audience by behavioral group - which they can use for better messaging, programming, networking and engagement. Many event hosts have asked attendees to take the Assessment before the event and asked attendees to put their BOSI Profile on their name badges. This leads to powerful networking, aligning and energized engagement at events.

Since the BOSI Assessment acts as a predictive tool, event hosts can literally predict what an entrepreneurs strengths, weaknesses, frustrations and upcoming pitfalls may be. In other words, once you know an entrepreneur's BOSI Profile, you can predict what their issues, gifts and challenges will be , even before they manifest themselves.

Below are some ways the assessment can be helpful to partners and entrepreneurs even after GEW:

  1. Waubonsee Community College for example, is using the Assessment as a way to screen students, build better student teams in entrepreneurship classes, and even engage potential students into entrepreneurship classes.
  2. SBDCs are using the Assessment with every new client to then match that client to insight, resources and mentors best suited for them. They are finding that the results compared to the old-school "one size fits all" approach they were taking is night-and-day difference.
  3. Financiers (Angels/VCs) are using BOSI to identify the profile of entrepreneur they want to work with. They are also using it to build complimentary teams.
  4. CoFounders Lab is integrating BOSI into their process to match co-founders together. Several accelerators and incubators are using it to understand each founder and match them with mentors and insight that compliments them.

The BOSI Assessment is not only a great way to help attendees get the most out GEW events, but a tool that can continue to help business and organizations maximize the use of their resources.

The BSOI Assessment is a free tool! Find more information, and take the Assessment here.
