Students from around the world will get a chance to collaborate with each other and even share their company profiles and elevator pitches during Global Entrepreneurship Week.
Coordinated by Achievers International, student groups are making elevator pitch videos about their proposed companies or products. They will also touch upon how they came up with their product ideas and how they intend to manage the company.
Achievers International is an internet-based enterprise project for students that brings business to life for young people. It enables students to understand international business through an authentic trading relationship with a partner school overseas. A group of students and their teacher form a student company, and import and export goods with their overseas partner school, encouraging them to develop an entrepreneurial mindset. More than 30,000 students from five continents have already participated in the program, which continues to grow. In order to participate in Achievers International, you must work at an educational institution with students and fill in the short application form.
Students will also get the opportunity to videoconference with partner schools around the world during GEW discussing entrepreneurship (these will not be limited to just their official partners – the whole network of schools will be open to them).
Will there be any student companies actually launched through Achievers International during GEW?
Stay tuned to find out.
