More than 60,000 people from 212 countries are vying for only 12 spots in the finals of Your Big Year, held in Liverpool during the Global Entrepreneurship Congress in March 2012. There they will compete for the grand prize--a free trip around the world hitting five continents networking and building life experiences to help them unleash their ideas.

But first, they have to make the cut down to 111--announced in New York City on 11/11/11 at 11:11 am. 

So how do they do it? 

Contestants can answer a series of questions and quizzes to earn points and a spot in the final 111. They can also complete a series of tasks--like watching YBY videos, creating their own video or posting pictures of themself with the logo--to earn points. Photos have been coming in from every corner of the globe, including the mountains of Colombia (above) or the sands of Oman (below). Stay tuned for the announcement of the finalists.
